National Latino Officers Association Dinner

Last night, I went to the National Latino Officers Association dinner as bae's plus 1. The dinner honors state and local Latino police officer's service in New York. It was great to see these officers with their wives, husbands, kids, and friends especially because being a cop in today's world is not the easiest. Actually, there is nothing ever easy about being a cop. The difference between a police officer and me is that an officer took a vow to serve and protect communities, I didn't and for that, I respect them.

Aside from a great cause, the party was so much fun! There was live salsa (which my dress already had set the vibes for), the presentation of colors, the police commissioner James O'Neil came through, there was a table with two Cuban men rolling cigars, open bar, a lot of food and dancing.

Later, bae and I went on a spontaneous date night and bar hopped for a few hours afterward ending up on Dyckman and then, much later, John's Fried Chicken. Regular.

I wore this VERY comfortable and VERY stretchy dress by Rachel Zoe. It was so soft and so close to my body, I couldn't stop hugging myself. I got these red heels at Zara a few weeks ago.
